Night At The Movies

 

Silk Screen film festival now offers its major Sponsors and Community Partners an option to host a Night At The Movies.
 
As the schedule of the films gets decided in late Spring, our Programming Committee will suggest some films to you. Pick one screening. It will be at the Melwood Screening Room in Oakland as it has space for a reception.
The hall seats 125 people.
 
You are welcome to bring volunteers for the evening and we can also provide some if needed.
 
You should prepare a list of clients, friends and prospects to invite to this event. Often companies also invite many management personnel and spouses.
 
Once the evening date is decided, you should send out an invitation by mail or email for this "By Invitation Only" exclusive screening.
 
Providing beverages and snacks before the event is your choice. Silk Screen can recommend several great Asian restaurants as an option for your company. Or we can also help with basic snack options.
Bring any brochures if you like to give away to the audience.
 
After the reception, before the film starts, there will be brief welcome remarks by a Silk Screen staff member. After that you have the option to talk about your group/company. Limit all speeches to 3 minutes please.
 
We can help with providing a person to conduct the Q&A session after the film. This could be the visiting filmmaker/actor if any, or a knowledgeable person about the film/subject.
